The reason we do not allow unarranged visits is because we work off leash and cage free with the dogs here. Unarranged and imprompt visits are fine for establishments where the dogs are caged and cannot have access to the public, here it is not like that.
We work with dogs with all manner of issues, from people issues to issues with other dogs and work with each dog in a very controlled and succinct way. Visitors who have ‘had dogs all their life and all dogs love’ them, [we hear it all the time…] would not have any idea how we are working with a particular phobia and so may put back our work by saying or doing the wrong thing.

We are happy to take your calls between 9am and 7pm. If your dog is boarding with us and you need to contact us, please feel free to call outside of these hours but within reason as we do like to sleep occasionally!
All boarding enquiries have to be followed up with an email request showing dates needed and giving us as much information about your dog as is necessary. It is very important that you tell us about any behaviour issues or medical issues at this point as we book in dogs based on their ability to fit into the pack.
Meet and Greet
The meet and greet, whereby you bring your dog to us here at the ranch and we see how he or she does in this environment, is a very important part of the process. It enables us to evaluate your dogs’ suitability to life here at the ranch with other dogs off leash, allows him or her to acclimate in a friendly, positive way with you here, and allows us to find out what makes your dog happy through forming a relationship with you. We always walk in the meadow during meet and greets, and you will also get to meet my own working dogs as they are best ambassadors for the ranch and take pride in showing other dogs around!
We ask that you be sure of your dates before you arrange a meet and greet with us, as we like to show prospective visitors around within one month of them coming to stay here, that way, their positive experience will still be fresh in their mind…Once your booking is set and we know we have availability for your dog, we will be happy to arrange a meet and greet at a time thats mutually convenient. We do not do drop in meet and greets as we are off leash here and we match what we know about your dogs behaviour to the guests he or she shall meet while here for the visit. That is why we ask you to give us as much information as possible about the dog when you first contact us.
We charge $75 for the meet and greet process because it takes at least an hour of our time, during which time you will learn an awful lot about dog behavior and nutrition, and your dog will have a marvelous time running in our meadow with his new pals.
Please note no children under the age of 16 years are allowed on the premises at anytime – this is a condition set within our insurance cover.
